A Good Calculus Text, But Has Some Deficiencies

The only draw back that I find with this book, and many of the well-known and used Calculus books like Edward's Calculus, Early Transcendentals Value Package (includes Student Solutions Manual) (7th Edition) is that there isn't enough discussion of the concept of the Integral as an accumulation function. The AP Calculus tests now have placed considerable emphasis on these functions in the Free Response questions with initial conditions. The text here being reviewed is an AP textbook, and it seems, in my opinion, that there should be a chapter or two devoted to this concept and use of the Integral.
As is the complaint with many "Study Guides" for standardized exams, the practice tests and questions are too simple and are not up to level and thinking ability that is required on actual exams. The AP questions in this text seem to me, to be too simple and not up to level. For example, the AP AB/BC questions at the end of Chapter 4 on Integration do not have any Practice Questions that look like the Accumulation Function questions on the actual AP tests. I hope the Authors will give attention to this deficiency in future editions.
Even in some of the so-called "Applied Calculus" texts, there is no mention of these functions at all (unless I am missing something altogether and I would appreciate someone to inform me) except one I found Calculus Concepts: An Informal Approach to the Mathematics of Change (Textbooks Available with Cengage Youbook) which appears to have some sections and a whole chapter that discusses the Integral in this way in applications. This should be good practice for those preparing for the AP exams. I purchased it and hope it is what it appears to be: a book that discusses in depth the Integral as an Accumulation Function and fills the void that many Calculus books have in this area - even AP titles. If so, I will recommend it to students as a supplement.

Not new book

At first, I thought the product is ok even though is has a lot of folded pages. However, I just found out that the book that I got is not new at all. It was not until last week that I start to use the first chapter of the book where I found pencil marks everywhere. I tried to erase them, but they just won't go away:( I spent more than $100 on this book, and right now I feel really bad
