Don't Just Swim, Sync

Practical advice abounds in this no frills book. The instructions that businesses need to succeed are in this book but I wonder if it's sexy enough to garner the attention.
You could scour the internet and get much of the same material. That's true of about any non-fiction book today. The information is there. Do you have the time to track it all down? I don't so I'm happy to have the book. One interesting point, the book gives great marketing advice applicable to any sized business. No, you're not too big for this lesson! And you're not too small.
There are no gimmicks in the book. Gimmicks don't work. There are lots of great case studies and they are very, very helpful. In fact, I came across one that will help a client I'm working with right now.
You might trip over some of the language. The editing isn't great. I noticed that right away because the book is written in a style similar to my own. I often need to rewrite what I write. Like this review...right?
I did receive a copy for review. And you now have my honest opinion of the book. Get it and read it. That won't benefit you at all. But if you decide to get your marketing in sync...that takes some thinking and a lot of work. But you're already working hard. Why not get rewarded? Start with this book.

As a human resources professional, I find there are many similarities between marketing and HR. Ganesh's book provides a nice reference guide for those of us who want to keep up with marketing trends and metrics. The case studies were current and relevant. This is a must-have book for any business library.

That's exactly what this book encompasses. How to adapt, and be adept at it. Yaagneshwaran nails the head with a neat, crisp read, which is a must-have for all new-age Marketers as well as traditional Marketers who are looking to make the shift.
Enticingly named, this books clearly has lots of research and ground work behind it. The author has conducted plethora of interviews and you can find the book sprinkled with lots of examples. That, in my opinion, is the USP of the book as it's not all talk and theory, but every bit is backed with examples, making it easier to understand & potentially apply it into the real-world.
This book will certainly be in sync with anyone keen on learning the ways and whims of new-age Marketing.
